Yoga, meditation & mindful awareness

A welcoming yoga practice
for body, mind, and soul.

Yoga and meditation come together in every class. I create a supportive, non-competitive space to move gently, breathe consciously, slow down, and reconnect.

Gentle postures, awareness of the breath, relaxation, positive affirmations, and guided meditation form a practice inspired by Ananda Yoga and the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. People of all backgrounds, beliefs, and experience levels are welcome.

My aim is for you to leave each class feeling calmer, more energised, and more connected with yourself.

Yoga first, meditation within

Two connected practices
with equal space to grow.

Yoga prepares the body and breath; meditation carries that awareness inward. Together, they support strength, ease, concentration, calm, and a more mindful daily life.

Ananda Yoga

Ananda Yoga for body and mind

Gentle postures, mindful movement, breathwork, and positive affirmations build flexibility, improve posture, awaken energy, and deepen inner awareness. The focus is not on how a posture looks, but on how it feels from within.

What the class includes
  • Standing postures to awaken and energise
  • Seated and reclining postures for flexibility and awareness
  • Spinal stretches and twists to release tension
  • Adapted inverted or energising postures
  • Deep relaxation to prepare for meditation

Hong-Sau technique

Hong-Sau meditation for calm and focus

Guided meditation and the Hong-Sau technique use awareness of the natural breath to strengthen concentration and help the mind become calmer and more focused. Beginners receive clear guidance for building a steady, sustainable practice.

Do I need to stop all thoughts?

No. Meditation is not about forcing the mind to become empty. You learn to observe, concentrate, and return your attention with patience and self-kindness.
